The Board of Directors is the governing body of the NS 55+ Games Society. Most members are Regional Directors who represent the region and act as the main point of contact between the Board and each region. The other members of the Board include the President, Vice-President, Past President, Secretary, and Treasurer who ensure the Board is following the bylaws (download below). Each year the Board hosts an Annual General Meeting (AGM) where the membership can vote on the budget, new business, and a year-end summary. Members can expect an email invite and a post in the Membership Connect closer to the date of the AGM.
Currently, we are actively recruiting for Regional Directors for the Highlands Region, the Cape Breton Region, the Fundy Region, and the South Shore Region. We are, however, also accepting applications for Regional Directors from all regions.
