NS Team Bulletin #3
Registration for the Nationals continues.
Silver medalists may now register to fill any vacancy that has not yet been filled by a Gold medalist. If you are a Gold medalist, register as soon as possible, otherwise you may risk losing your spot.
As indicated in Bulletins #1 and #2 (which can be found on NS 55+ website), if you qualify to play in the Nationals, send an email to our Nova Scotia Team Coordinator, Cynthia Boutilier to request a registration form.
* Please indicate in your email to Cynthia what event you participated in at the Pictou provincials and what medal you earned.
* When you fill out the registration form, make sure to complete the waiver section.
REMINDER of Registration Timelines
All Gold medalists should have already registered, but if you haven’t, do so as soon as possible.
April 15th – Registration opened for Silver Medal winners where two or more entries are permitted.
May 1st – Registration open for Bronze Medal winners.
May 15th - At this time registration opens on a first come, first serve basis for any team or individual who participated in the 2023 Nova Scotia Provincial Games in Pictou and/or any other Nova Scotian to apply, depending on space available in any event until the deadline of June 24th.
Qualifying medal winners are reminded that your registration and payment must be submitted in a timely way. If you have not returned your registration form complete with payment by May 15th, your participation in a particular event can no longer be guaranteed. Some events only permit one or two participants / teams per province/territory. Once these spots are filled, they are filled.
Recall that you can know how many spots can be filled under “rules” for each event on the Quebec National Games website.
* Any team that has an unexpected vacancy, please send an email to Cynthia Boutilier so efforts can be made to fill the vacancy (firstly) by someone who participated in the 2023 provincial games.
* Our Team Hotel Concorde still has rooms available at the 55+ Games Group rate. Even if you are not sure yet that you can attend the Quebec Games, reserve a room as soon as possible. You can always cancel the reservation in a timely way.
